Troop Withdrawl

While many people believe we should get our troops out of Iraq, I believe this must be a slow and steady process and not become a quick pull out which could lead to problems for decades and centuries not just months and years. While I agree with the Barack Obama that sending more troops into harms way is a mistake I also believe it is a mistake to believe we will have all of our men and women out of Iraq by 2008. Many political experts say it will be at least a five year time period before we can pull all troops out of Iraq and feel comfortable. I believe this is a strategy we must maintain in order to have success and make sure these men and women win their fight and have not sacrificed so much for nothing. We must stand behind our troops one hundred percent with no wavering in order to keep the morale high and to keep them safe. If Barack wishes to become president he must realize that while he has not created the situation he will walk into he must not pull a quick fix with the war and must work with many in order to achieve stability in Iraq. While I believe Barack Obama is the best man to follow George Bush he must not make irrational decisions in order to appease his political party but he must make the sound decisions to keep our country free from terrorism and prospering in freedom.
